About

Hi I’m Peter, or Bez to many of my friends. For my day job I teach English as a foreign language. This job enables me to indulge my main passion, which is travelling of course! I’m now living back in England but I previously spent the best part of five years living in Spain and Malaysia. I first caught the travel bug when I went to India aged 19 and have pretty much had it ever since. Other than travelling, my main passions are watching and playing a multitude of different sports, and eating large quantities. Other things that I like include learning languages, playing excessively loud music and orangutans.

As she will probably get mentioned quite a lot in this blog, I had also best introduce my wife Janey. We met five years ago when we were training to be teachers in Manchester, and have been sharing adventures together ever since. She likes animals, archaeology, and pretty things.

  1. Hi Peter, nice to meet you. I glad to find your blog. I will definitely drop by to read more of your posts. I would also be interested to read some of your posts about your travels in India. 🙂 😀

Hi Gaurab. Thank you very much, I’m glad you like the blog. I would love to write about India but unfortunately it is twelve years since I was there so my memory is a little hazy now! I’m hoping to return there while I’m living in Asia though. I’ve got some future blogs coming up about Laos, Thailand and the Philippines so hopefully you will enjoy them.

  2. Thank you for visiting my blog ! I’ve been to malaysia last winter, but I haven’t visited as much as you guys ! So, it is quite good to read stories about the part I’ve missed. I look forward to read more from your adventures. And if you love food, you must be very happy over there 😀

Hi, I’m glad you like the blog. I really enjoyed the photos of Budapest on your blog. I’m based in Malaysia but I blog about many different countries, mostly in South East Asia. I’m also hoping to publish some retrospectives about Morocco, Spain and South America in the next few months so I hope you like them!

      • Where have you been in South america ? i’ve been to Quito and Galapagos island, and I would like to publish some entries about these trips as well. But we all have so little time !

Sorry I’ve only just seen this comment. I must have missed it at the time. I spent 5 months in South America in 2007. Best time of my life! I went to Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Chile & Uruguay. I would love to go back one day. I hope to publish a couple of articles sometime soon but like you I don’t ever have enough time!
